2015-16 Regional Development Fund programs announced

Today Minister Brock announced the opening of the next round of his Regional Development Fund (RDF) grant program.  This year the program comprises of two programs:

  1. The Major Projects Program for grants of between $200,000 and $2 million. This is aimed at supporting major economic projects, strengthening regional industries and assisting regional businesses take advantage of new opportunities.
  2. The Community Infrastructure Program for grants of between $200,000 and $1 million to support investment in regional communities to develop their economic infrastructure, and grow their capabilities as a foundation for future jobs and economic growth.

Expressions of interest (EOI) applications can be received from today until 22 May 2015.

Regional information sessions to provide interested and potential applicants with the opportunity for face to face discussion are being planned with dates yet to be confirmed and are to be advertised in local media.
