An evening with Hans Kunnen – Chief Econiomist, St. George Banking Group

Investors and interested parties will have a rare opportunity on the evening of March 30th, to dine and network with Hans Kunnen, Chief Economist of the St. George Banking Group.

As part of his role, and on behalf of the Whyalla Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Hans will present his views on the economy and investments,  as well as sharing with attendees, his personal experience of having been at the World Trade Centre in New York at the time of the September 11 Terror Attacks. During the night Hans will also touch on his book written on the topic of wealth creation by using debt responsibly.

Hans has been with the St. George Banking Group for three (3) years (includes the Bank of Melbourne and BankSA) and is regularly consulted on economic matters by The Financial Review. Prior to his current role, Hans Kunnen was Head of Investment Markets Research with Australia’s largest fund manager and was previously Chief Economist at the State Bank NSW.

Having an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Western Australia and a Masters Degree in Economics from the University of New England, Hans has taught economics at the University of New England and Macquarie University in Sydney, as well as serving on a number of government and industry advisory bodies.

The evening will begin from 6pm for a 6:30pm start with Mirambeena staff serving a relaxed meal during the evening, and drinks will be available for purchase from the bar.

Registrations are needed by COB March 25th for catering purposes.
