Mental Health Awareness and Management at Work with Dr Moira Jenkins, Psychologist

Tuesday 21 March 2017
3-4.30pm

Quest Whyalla Playford
9-11 Darling Terrace
Whyalla SA 5600

With one in four Australians suffering a mental health problem at any one time in their life, it is likely that one of your staff will be impacted at some time. Depression and Anxiety are the most common types of mental health problems experienced.

Many businesses owners don’t have the expertise to help an employee with a mental illness, or know their legal obligations when accommodating mental illness in the workplace.
This workshop examines a number of simple strategies to assist employees with mental health problems, examines business owners’ legal responsibilities, plus how to ensure your workplace is supportive.

Dr Jenkins is the Director of ‘Aboto’ Psychology and Workplace Conflict Management Services. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer in the School of Psychology at the University of Adelaide.
Please note that you must register to attend the workshop and networking event separately. Scroll down for the Networking Event invitation.
