Round 2 – National Stronger Regions Fund open

With Round 2 of the Australian Government’s National Stronger Regions Fund now open, Local Government and non-profit organisations are invited to submit applications for the second round of the National Stronger Regions Fund (NSRF) which closes on 31 July 2015.

The objective of the NSRF is to fund investment ready projects which support economic growth and sustainability of regions across Australia, particularly disadvantaged regions, by supporting investment in priority infrastructure.

Round Two Guidelines and other guidance materials are available online.

Applications for Round Two must be submitted online through the Grants Management System (GMS) Portal and applicants are encouraged to seek the support of their Regional Development Australia Committee for their project. Assessment of Round 2 applications are expected to be complete by 31 October 2015.

Interested parties are invited to attend a forum on Wed 10 June, 2:30 – 3:30pm at 77 Grenfell Street, Adelaide to discuss the NSRF and hear about the opportunities that this Fund represents for infrastructure and capital works projects for regional South Australia. Attendees will also have the opportunity to discuss any support that may be needed to enable to progress projects.
